We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in land surveying and be proficient in using various software tools such as AutoCAD and ArcGIS. This role involves conducting surveys, collecting data, and ensuring accurate measurements to support construction and development projects. The successful applicant will be instrumental in providing precise information that guides project planning and execution.
The ideal candidate will have practical experience in a similar role, you will be proficient in producing detailed Measured Building Surveys or have relevant experience using 2D and 3D laser scanning equipment. A willingness to travel and a full UK driving license are essential requirements for the role.
Duties
Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and other relevant features.
Utilise AutoCAD and other CAD software to create detailed survey drawings and plans.
Collect, analyse, and manage data related to land measurements and geographical information.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to provide essential survey information for projects.
Prepare reports summarising findings from surveys and present them to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with standards in all surveying activities.
Maintain equipment used for surveying, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly.
Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating technical drawings related to land surveys.
Strong understanding of land surveying principles and practices.
Experience with ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis.
Familiarity with CAD software for drafting purposes.
Excellent data management skills to handle large sets of survey data accurately.

Desirable:
RICS/ICES Qualified
UAV/Drone Experience
University degree in survey related field
CSCS Card holder (this will be required before starting work)
N4CE experience or software knowledge
Laser Scanning Experience with point cloud registration & BIM workflows
