Job Title Land Transaction Manager - EMEA

Summary Cushman and Wakefield are looking for an experienced individual to join them as a Land Transaction Manager covering clients operating across EMEA.

You will work closely and build relationships with major Data Centre organizations, learning about their requirements and what sites/locations work and don\xe2\x80\x99t work for them. Equally, you will work closely and build relationships with local (in-country) brokerage teams across the EMEA to source and introduce land & development opportunities to fulfil these requirements.



Core responsibilities:

  • Contribute to business development assignments, helping the team to target and build our portfolio of Data Centre clients and grow revenue
  • Develop the land transaction service, supporting new business development, building relationships with target data centre organisations.
  • Specifically to develop our capability and potential to handle \xe2\x80\x9cnon-exclusive\xe2\x80\x9d mandates
  • Identify and deliver cross-selling opportunities for other areas of the business
  • Advise clients on portfolio strategy and optimisation solutions
  • Set and achieve specific objectives in line with business plan and update with CRL as necessary, with the aim to grow revenue and profitability generated by existing clients
  • Contribute to projecting annual fee income via accurate fee forecasting/managing potential fee pipeline
  • Ensure own and team\xe2\x80\x99s work complies with firm procedures and guidelines (health & safety, quality, risk, professional code of conduct, etc.)
  • Provide on-going coaching, mentoring and other development opportunities for direct reports, plus conduct performance reviews.
  • Undertake and record the requisite amount of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Ensure projects, reports, etc are delivered on time and meet client objectives
  • Participate in non-fee generating activities such as graduate recruitment, L&D, resourcing and support local office social activities
  • Bring fresh ideas and innovation to the group to enable a level of self-improvement
Knowledge and qualifications:
  • Degree level qualification in Real Estate (or something complementary to the role)
  • MRICS qualification (or similar) preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of Real Estate experience in a real estate transactional role
  • A proven track record in managing clients and delivering transactional real estate projects internationally
  • A passion for the Data Centre sector. Understanding the trends, terminology and the players.
  • Demonstrable ability to take responsibility of sizeable and complex client instructions. Experience on land acquisition and BTS projects needed.
  • Demonstrable technical competence in areas relevant to the role
  • Experience in business development, networking and building relationships internally and externally

  • Experience in managing people and teams
  • Understanding of P&Ls and how to manage them
  • Good commercial acumen, negotiation skills and understanding of market dynamics
