Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Architects/Landscape Planners to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of landscape design principles and be proficient in various design software. This role involves collaborating with clients, engineers, and other professionals to create aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor spaces. The Landscape Architect will be responsible for managing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring that all designs meet client specifications and environmental regulations.

Duties

Develop innovative landscape designs that align with client needs and project goals. Proven experience in landscape planning, including LVA/LVIA's, and landscape design strategies. A good understanding of UK planning policy and legislation related to landscape and environmental planning. Undertake site visits and surveys to assess landscapes and gather data for analysis and reporting. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., GIS software, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite). Utilise software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit for design development and presentation. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for landscaping projects. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget constraints. Oversee the implementation of landscape designs, including irrigation systems and plant selection. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field is essential. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit is advantageous. Strong knowledge of land surveying techniques and principles. Experience in project management within the landscape architecture field is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders. A keen eye for detail with a passion for sustainable design practices. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
