Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance and horticulture, demonstrating proficiency with various tools and equipment. This role involves working outdoors to enhance and maintain the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all landscaping projects are completed to the highest standards.

Duties

Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for various landscaping tasks. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for plants and lawns. Assist in the construction of landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Conduct activities including planting, pruning, and fertilising plants to promote healthy growth. Maintain equipment by performing routine checks. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within set timelines while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Must have full driving licence. CSCS card holder preferred . Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely. Familiarity with horticulture principles and practices is advantageous. Experience in construction techniques related to landscaping is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
