Paradigm Landscapes aim to provide a variety of hard and soft landscaping services to both residential and commercial properties, as well as delivering high value contracts for main contractors and infrastructure businesses. As our business grows, we require to recruit a number of professionals who have experience of operating in this environment.

Paradigm Landscapes Ltd are actively seeking to recruit Landscaping Operatives.

Job Role:

Working on commercial, or residential landscaping sites throughout Glasgow and surrounding areas, our landscape projects can range from the construction of driveway and garden spaces to fencing packages for new build contractors. As a Landscape Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of landscaping duties under the guidance and leadership of our on site, site supervisors, and project manager.

You will generally be working with others however occasionally you will be required to work under your own initiative without close supervision.

Hard Landscape Works

Setting out and laying of porcelain, sandstone and all other types of paving. Setting out and laying of all types of block paving (examples; Monoblock, Tegula blocks). Setting out building of all types of timber fencing structures. Setting out, preparation and laying of various sub base materials. Operate a wide range of power tools including disk saws, grinders, drills etc and operate different items of plant including micro/mini excavators. Building basic blockwork and brickwork structure for step risers and small retaining walls.
Soft Landscape Works

Preparation of ground for turfing, seeding or planting and soil, laying turf, sowing seed, positioning and planting of plants, trees and shrubs, providing ongoing aftercare.

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

Driving Licence 2 years of

Hard Landscaping

experience

Desirable Experience and Qualifications:

CSCS, CPCS or NPORS certification and/or relevant construction/plant operations SVQ.

Package:

Salary Banding - 22,932 - 25,000 per annum (Based on experience) 35 hours per week Overtime at enhanced rate Company Pension Increased Annual Leave for continued service Assist in shaping Policy and Decision Making Encouraged and supported to make a difference in the lives of young people
