Landscape Operative/ Landscape Gardner

Neal Landscapes was founded in 1992 as a landscape maintenance company serving companies in and around Milton Keynes. We are a local family run business which are growing year by year. No experience required or driving licence required, just a can do approach and willing to learn.

You will be required to make suitable and feasible arrangements to get to the depot located just outside Cranfield, Bedford for 7am Monday - Friday.

With this position we will be offering NPTC or Lantra courses within the first 18 months of employment. If you have these accreditations already we will be happy to look at other courses to suit.

If you do not already have these then the courses will comprise of...

Emergency First Aid at work + F (This will be offered at 6 months of employment) Level 2 Award in the Safe Application of Pesticides using Pedestrian Hand Held Equipment - PA1 (This will be offered at 12 months of employment) Level 2 Principles o Safe Handling and Application of Pesticides - PA6 (This will be offered at 12 months of employment) Chainsaw Maintenance, Cross-cutting, Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm - CS30 & CS31 (This will be offered at 18 months of employment)
We are keen to find people that are also happy with working at heights as we are looking to train more staff in aerial rescue and the use of a chainsaw in a harness and MEWP which we own ourselves.

Overall responsibility:

Hedge cutting Chipping Grass cutting - Ride on & Hand Mower Strimming Manual weeding Herbicidal spraying Raking Sweeping Blowing Litter picking Tree Surgery Robot works to include mulching, grass cutting, stump grinding Maintaining Company Tools, machinery and vehicles
Details of employment:

Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 4.30pm (At Depot located in Cranfield, Bedford) Opportunities of overtime (overtime rate is at time and half)
