Soft Landscaping Team Leader

to take charge of a small team and lead the delivery of soft landscaping projects to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of landscapers on-site to complete planting, turfing, soil preparation, and softscape installations. Interpret landscape drawings and plans, ensuring all work is completed according to design specifications. Manage daily site operations, including task delegation, progress monitoring, and timekeeping. Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard of quality. Communicate with clients, designers, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery. Maintain tools, materials, and vehicles, and oversee stock usage and ordering on-site. Train and support junior team members.

Requirements:

Proven experience in soft landscaping, including planting, turfing, and soil preparation. Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a landscaping or horticultural setting. Strong plant knowledge and understanding of soft landscape construction techniques. Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and drawings. Excellent communication and team management skills. Full UK driving licence (essential). CSCS card and relevant qualifications in horticulture or landscaping (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.95-15.00 per hour
