Job Description

We are looking for a skilled landscaper subcontractor to join our team. This would be on a part-time basis, probably 4 days a week currently.

We work on housing developments around the south east of England (approx 25 mile radius of Fleet) creating show gardens to the developer's specifications and then turfing & planting each individual plot. You will need to have a full range of landscaping skills, have the confidence and ability to do some work on your own as well as work together with others. We are currently working in the Reading and Basingstoke areas.

We need someone with good turfing skills and the ability to work on your own to complete lawn projects

You would need to be able to understand and implement the garden design specifications when planting shrubs and trees

General landscape maintenance including mowing and pruning shrubs and trees

Be able to operate hand tools, power tools and machinery such as excavators

Maintain a clean and safe environment

Collaborate in a professional manner with all trades on site

You will have proven experience in landscaping and garden maintenance and want to create gardens to be proud of. We are looking for a someone who gets on with others, has a good work ethic and is willing to work hard and to a high standard.

You will need your own van, and be willing to travel to the various sites. You will work under CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) where 20% tax is paid directly to HMRC - if not already registered we can help with that

Pay: 14.00-17.50 per hour
