Responsibilities

Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers efficiently and safely Use hand tools for planting, digging, edging, and general garden care Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and system repairs when necessary Operate machinery including excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparation Conduct routine maintenance of equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance Assist with construction tasks such as installing features like patios, pathways, or garden beds Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during operations

Skills

Proven experience in landscaping or fencing Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment, machinery and power tools Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Experience operating machinery such as excavator, dumper and/or telehandler is advantageous Strong understanding of gardening practices, plant care, and horticultural principles Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions Good organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in construction or landscaping projects First Aid at Work certificate is desirable Full, clean driving license is essential
