The Large Format Print & Finishing Manager is responsible for overseeing the printing and finishing of large format jobs, ensuring high-quality output, efficient workflow, and on-time delivery. This role manages print operators and finishing staff, maintains equipment, monitors job schedules, leading continuous improvement projects, and ensures all work meets client specifications and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Production Management



Plan, schedule, and oversee large format print jobs from print through to finishing and dispatch. Ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and to agreed deadlines. Implement and maintain quality control standards across all production stages.

Team Leadership



Supervise, train, and support print and finishing operators. Allocate workload, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to health & safety standards. Identify training needs.

Technical & Equipment Oversight



Have good knowledge of large format printers, cutters, laminators, and finishing equipment. Ensure routine maintenance and servicing of machinery to minimize downtime. Work with onsite engineer, suppliers and service engineers for repairs, consumables, and technical support.

Workflow & Process Improvement



Develop and implement efficient workflow processes to optimize production capacity. Help monitor daily stock levels of media, inks, and finishing materials, so stock is always available on floor for staff Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve turnaround times, and increase profitability.

Quality & Customer Focus



Ensure print quality, and finishing standards meet customer expectations. Liaise with pre-press and customer service teams to resolve artwork or production issues.
12pm - 8pm shift


Annual Salary is 38,000

Requirements



Skills & Experience Required:

+ Proven experience in large format print and finishing production management. + Strong technical knowledge of large format printers and finishing equipment
+ Ability to manage and motivate a production team.
+ Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
+ Knowledge of health & safety regulations in a production environment.
