Large Format printer & Finisher

We are looking for a highly organised large-format printer and Finisher to join Peach Design, our Beckenham-based Sign and Design Company.

You will create production schedules, oversee production processes, and ensure that the required materials are selected and purchased. You will also be responsible for ensuring that equipment functions correctly and that health and safety protocols are adhered to.

We are looking to expand our team to help us continue the excellent work our clients have come to expect and take us to the next step in our journey.

Duties and Responsibilities

Overseeing manufacturing and production processes Operation and management of large-format digital printers, cutters and laminators Creating and executing daily, weekly, monthly Procuring required equipment and taking responsibility for its maintenance Striving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines Maintaining a high standard of work through regular quality checking Communicating any problems or obstacles to senior management Monitoring productivity standards and quality control Training and coaching relevant employees

What are we looking for?

You must be able to multitask and oversee several operations at a time. You will have excellent time management and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to keep a keen eye on everything and ensure a high standard of work through rigorous quality checking and attention to detail.

As well as this, the following are required;

Proven experience as a large-format printer Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations Outstanding communication ability Excellent organisational and leadership skills Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach

Experience with the following machines and software

Onyx Rip Server HP latex Printers Zund G3 Digital cutting bed Canon Arizona direct-to-media printer Seal Pro laminators.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is beneficial but not essential

This full-time position works from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - Monday to Friday.

Salary - negotiable and dependent on experience.
