About The Role



As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our large format department and assisting with finishing tasks in the digital department when required. Your role will involve producing work that meets job specifications within the agreed timeframes, ensuring efficient organisation of the department, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring equipment is correctly maintained.

Key Responsibilities:



Set up and operate print jobs on Onyx. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in the preparation, production, and finishing of products. Operate laminating equipment and finish printed products ready for installation. Provide support to the small format digital department when necessary. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Maintain high organisational standards with excellent file-handling skills. Multi-task effectively and work well under pressure to meet deadlines. Display a strong sense of initiative, while also being a reliable team player in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks and ensure relevant records are kept organised and up to date. Adapt quickly to the team's workflow system and contribute to an effective working environment.

Requirements:



Essential:

Previous experience with large format printing and running roll-fed large format printers. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for finishing. Ability to handle media rolls and boards physically. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable with supporting the small format digital department when required. Ability to thrive in a lively, team-oriented environment with a positive, proactive attitude. A quick learner, capable of executing tasks quickly and to a high standard. Organisational skills with a focus on keeping administrative tasks in order. Ability to work effectively as part of a team to create the best solutions for customers. Must have good common sense and problem-solving abilities.
