As our business continues to grow, we are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Laser Machine Operators to join our production team.

Role Overview:

As a Laser Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating FC Laser's portfolio of lasers and equipment efficiently, ensuring parts are cut to exact specifications in line with customer drawings, quality standards, and health and safety regulations. This role is vital in helping us meet production targets and maintain our strong reputation for quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

? Accurately complete all required paperwork, including job cards and drawing checks.

? Select the correct materials as per job specifications and ensure they meet company

quality standards.

? Handle materials carefully to avoid any damage or scratching.

? Achieve production targets of 10 cut hours per 12-hour shift (or report issues

affecting this target).

? Ensure all materials and job cards are correctly labelled with the appropriate GIN

number.

? Verify quantities cut and ensure accurate loading of parts onto designated trolleys or

pallets.

? Prioritise jobs according to delivery dates and transport method, communicating any

urgency.

? Complete final inspections, stamping job cards to confirm part quality and quantities.

? Follow the "1st off" process, including stamping length, width, and thickness of the

material.

? Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following housekeeping standards and laser cell cleaning schedules.

? Clean the machine and dust box at the end of each 4-day shift.

? Actively contribute to a Lean 5S environment: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardise,

Sustain.

? Identify and report improvement opportunities in safety, efficiency, and cost reduction.

What We're Looking For:

? Experience operating laser cutting machines is preferred but not essential - training

will be provided for the right candidate.

? Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

? Ability to follow set processes and procedures precisely.

? Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

? Understanding of Lean or 5S principles is an advantage.

? Physically fit and capable of handling materials safely.
