Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Laser Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating laser cutting machinery. If you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work, we would love to hear from you.

Laser supervisor - Key Responsibilities

Complete all required paperwork accurately (job Numbers, drawing checks). Select and inspect materials per job specs and quality standards. Handle materials carefully to avoid damage. Meet production targets and report any issues. Label all materials and job cards with correct job numbers. Verify cut quantities and load parts accurately onto trolleys/pallets. Prioritise jobs based on delivery deadlines and transport method. Conduct final inspections and stamp job cards for quality confirmation. Follow the "1st off" process (stamp material length, width, thickness). Maintain cleanliness and safety per housekeeping and cleaning schedules. Clean machine and dust box at end of each 5-day shift. Identify and report safety, efficiency, and cost improvement opportunities. Ensure precise cutting and forming of materials to meet exact tolerances. Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet required standards What We're Looking For Laser cutting experience preferred (must have manufacturing experience). High attention to detail and quality focus. Ability to follow strict procedures. Good communicator and team player. Physically fit and safe material handler. Maintain a clean and organised working environment. Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe workplace. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results. Have a counterbalance license

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am till 4:30pm

Breaks:

Morning - 9:30 till 9:50

Lunch - 12:20 till 12:50
