Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to laundry processing and customer service within a launderette.

We are seeking a candidate who is both flexible and has an open schedule to work alternate Saturdays and occasionally by mutual agreement cover holidays and/or time off to ensure cover.

Must have good physical ability, customer focus, good communication skills, time management and commitment to the position.

This is a P/T position with morning shift schedules from 9am - 2pm that requires candidate weekend availability.

This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Duties

Assist in an effective laundry service.

Operating laundry machines.

Sorting/folding laundry.

Handling customer transactions.

Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the facility.

Uphold health and safety standards while providing exceptional service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a laundry environment is preferred but not essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities:

Opening and closing procedure.

Ensuring accurate and legible laundry and cleaning schedules are kept and maintained.

Inventory management, keeping track of laundry supplies.

Following health and safety regulations.

Adhere to all safety training and requirements.

Working independently and as part of a team.

Cash handling, processing payments and managing cash transactions accurately.
