We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and customer-focused
Team Leader
to oversee the daily operations of our launderette. You will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring high standards of service, maintaining equipment, and delivering a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and motivate a small team of launderette staff.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure all machines (washers, dryers, etc.) are maintained, cleaned, and reported for repair when needed.
Manage staff rotas, shift cover, and ensure adequate staffing levels during operational hours.
Oversee daily opening and closing procedures.
Train new staff on health & safety, customer service, and operational tasks.
Monitor cleanliness of the premises and ensure hygiene standards are met.
Handle cash, card payments, and daily reconciliation of takings (if applicable).
Assist with laundry processing, folding, ironing, or delivery services as needed.
Support stock control and ordering of cleaning products, detergents, and supplies.
Key Skills and Attributes:
Previous experience in a supervisory or customer service role (laundry or retail environment preferred).
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
Problem-solving skills and ability to handle minor maintenance issues.
Basic IT and cash handling skills.

30 Hours a week
