Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of all laundry items, providing excellent service to our clients. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency within the laundry facility.

Responsibilities

Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures. Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Handle guest or client laundry requests promptly and courteously. Inspect items for damage or stains and report any issues to management. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies, notifying management when stock is low.

Skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests or clients and team members. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items as needed.
