Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our establishment. Previous hotel experience is advantageous, as it equips you with the skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, sort, and prepare laundry items (e.g., bedding, towels, uniforms, personal clothing) for washing. Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing/pressing equipment safely and efficiently. Check laundry for damage or stains and treat items where necessary. Fold, pack, and store clean laundry in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness and order in the laundry room at all times. Follow infection control, hygiene, and health & safety guidelines. Report any equipment faults or maintenance needs to the supervisor. Keep accurate records of laundry processed, if required. Assist with stock control of laundry supplies (detergents, softeners, etc.). Support other team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.

Skills & Attributes:

Ability to follow instructions and work to set standards. Good attention to detail. Physical stamina for manual tasks. Awareness of hygiene and infection control. Team player with good time management.

Qualifications & Experience:

No formal qualifications required (training provided). Previous laundry or housekeeping experience desirable but not essential
3hours per day/ 6 days a week, flexible timings

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
