Week 1:

Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2:

As a Laundry Assistant, you will:

Provide an efficient and high-quality laundry service to support the wellbeing and comfort of residents. Ensure all clothing, linens, and bedding are thoroughly cleaned, dried, and returned to the correct residents with care and attention. Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic laundry environment in line with infection prevention, COSHH, and health and safety guidelines. Use labelling or tracking systems effectively to reduce the risk of lost or damaged items. Report any equipment faults promptly and keep laundry supplies stocked by monitoring usage levels. Accurately complete all required records and paperwork in a timely manner. Always treat residents and their belongings with dignity, respecting their privacy, preferences, and individual needs.

Experience:

Prior experience in a care or hospitality setting is desirable but not essential. A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow established processes. Awareness of infection control procedures and willingness to comply with COSHH regulations.
