Laundry Assistant
Job Description
Job Purpose: To ensure the laundry of all linen and residents clothing is to the highest standard, including ironing
Responsible to: Home Manager
Responsible for:
To ensure the laundry is collected and returned to the correct area of the home on a regular basis.
To ensure resident's personal clothing is put away in a neat and tidy manor.
To ensure that the laundry equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition.
Report any defect to the Home Manager.
To be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the residents.
To comply with COSHH regulations.
To ensure the correct use off PPE.
To maintain high standards of infection control within the laundry and generally within the home
HEALTH &SAFETY
To take reasonable care of the health & safety of themselves and all other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work
Normal hours are 10.00am - 3.00pm
Shift Pattern Normal 4 days on 4 days off
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.25 per hour
Work Location: In person
