Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our establishment. This position is essential for ensuring that all laundry services meet the high standards expected in the hospitality industry.

Duties

Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently, following proper procedures for different types of fabrics. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments according to established protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment. Assist with special requests from guests or staff regarding laundry services as needed. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens to guest rooms and common areas.

Experience

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning products is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
