Job Summary

We are looking for dedicated

Laundry and Housekeeping Staff

to join our care team and help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in resident rooms, bathrooms, corridors, lounges, dining areas, offices, and other designated spaces. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. Clean and disinfect washrooms, fixtures, and high-touch areas to prevent infection. Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste in line with care home guidelines. Handle laundry operations - washing, drying, ironing, folding, and proper storage/distribution of linen and uniforms. Replenish supplies in bathrooms, pantries, and common areas (soap, tissue, cleaning items, etc.). Ensure cleaning equipment, machines, and chemicals are used safely, stored properly, and any issues are reported. Support deep cleaning, infection control measures, and special cleaning projects as instructed. Immediately report maintenance issues, damages, or hazards to the supervisor. Adhere to health & safety regulations, fire safety, and infection prevention protocols. Maintain professional conduct, personal hygiene, and work as part of the care team.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with a passion for cleanliness and organisation. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day, including lifting and moving items as necessary. Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
