Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our hotel operations, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Duties

Operate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments as required. Inspect items for stains or damage and report any issues to management. Ironing customers garments Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area. Ensure that all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working order. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies.

Skills

Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Capability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
