Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel or similar environment, demonstrating a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organisation within domestic settings. This role is essential in ensuring that homes are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and comfort, contributing positively to the overall living experience.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Organise and maintain household items, ensuring everything is in its designated place. Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes. Prepare meals or assist with meal preparation as required. Run errands such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and well-maintained. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with household members.

Experience

Previous experience in a hotel or domestic cleaning role is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. A friendly disposition and excellent interpersonal skills.
