About the Role



We are launching a new, dynamic enablement service in Newham Adult Social Care, and we're looking for passionate and skilled professionals to join us as Learning Disabilities and Autism Enablement Officers.


In this role, you will deliver integrated social care support to residents with learning disabilities and/or autism, helping them to live more independent and fulfilling lives. You'll work with an assigned caseload, assessing needs, developing personalised support plans, and promoting independence through daily living skills and community engagement.

through tailored support in areas such as travel training, money management, and daily living skills.

Develop and implement creative and innovative solutions

with families, carers, and professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated support.

What We're Looking For



You'll be committed to person-centred care, with experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. You'll be a strong communicator, able to work collaboratively and flexibly within a multidisciplinary team.

The London Borough of Newham is located only 5 miles east of London. It is well positioned with access to all major networks in London and the south east.
