Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated LE2 Lineperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to work effectively with various tools and equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical lines and related infrastructure.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical lines and equipment in compliance with safety regulations. Operate power tools and hand tools to perform various tasks related to line work. Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues or areas needing improvement. Dig trenches for underground wiring and perform necessary groundwork. Weld components as required for repairs or installations. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience in electrical work or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and welding techniques is advantageous. A proactive approach to learning new skills and adapting to changing job requirements. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various outdoor conditions.
