About the Direct Payment Holder

A 27-year-old female with

Fibromyalgia

and limited mobility is seeking a kind, understanding, and reliable

female Personal Assistant

. The client requires someone who is

LGBTQ+ friendly

,

mental health aware

, and experienced in supporting individuals with autism. While the client has access to a mobility scooter and wheelchair, assistance will be required when going out in the community.

Hours and rate of pay

12 hours per week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday)

Location

Leicester (LE2)

DBS/Checks

Confirmation of DBS check

Right to Work and references will be needed.

Training

Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:

Safeguarding Adults Introduction to first aid Health and Safety

What you would be doing...

Providing support with

personal care

Assisting with

shopping

and running errands

Helping with light

cleaning

and household tasks

Supporting outings into the community (the PA must have a car)

Offering social and emotional support during visits

Required skills and experience

The ideal candidate is a friendly, compassionate, and proactive individual with experience in supporting people with physical disabilities and mental health challenges. A good understanding of autism is essential, alongside the ability to offer patient and thoughtful care.
