We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Technician to join our dynamic team. The Lead Technician will be responsible for overseeing technical operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and leading a team of technicians in various projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards while delivering exceptional results.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the technical team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
Provide hands-on support in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues across various systems.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless project execution and effective communication.
Maintain accurate records of all technical activities, including repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory management.
Implement best practices for safety and quality assurance in all technical operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a technician in a relevant field; supervisory experience is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of technical systems, machinery, or equipment relevant to the industry.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations applicable to the technical environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in technology or engineering are advantageous but not mandatory.
