About the Role:

Are you an exceptional Android Developer with a passion for hands-on coding and creating innovative, high-impact solutions?

Join our dynamic team as a Lead Android Developer, where you'll focus on developing cutting-edge Android applications, while also taking on a leadership role within the team. You will work on exciting Android projects, with full requirements, user stories, and test criteria provided via JIRA tickets, and you'll integrate hardware devices into established Android systems for retail.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys

hands-on development

but also has the opportunity to mentor and guide the team on best practices, project delivery, and technical challenges. Your primary responsibility will be delivering exceptional Android solutions, but you'll also support and collaborate with other developers to ensure quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Hands-On Development:

Lead the development of Android applications using Java and Kotlin, implementing features based on JIRA tickets with full requirements, user stories, and test criteria.

Strategic Planning:

Estimate delivery times and create detailed project plans to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of milestones.

Collaborative Work:

Work closely with project managers, clients, and other developers to track project progress, provide updates, and ensure smooth execution.

Client Engagement:

Collaborate with clients and project managers to ensure project progress, provide updates, and align on expectations.

Code Management:

Efficiently merge code, manage releases, and support the test team to meet strict deadlines and ensure quality.

Hardware Integration:

Integrate hardware devices into Android systems, creating seamless interactions with retail environments.

Team Mentorship:

While your focus will be on development, provide guidance and mentorship to other developers, helping them overcome technical challenges and maintain high standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in

Android development

with expertise in

Java and Kotlin

. Strong experience with

hardware device integration

into Android solutions. Excellent

problem-solving skills

and the ability to work independently, while thriving in a team environment.

Outstanding communication skills

to collaborate effectively with clients and project managers. Familiarity with

version control systems

(e.g., Git) and

agile methodologies

. Hands-on experience with

Android Studio, RESTful APIs

, and other development tools. Expertise in

code merging

and ensuring smooth release management to support a rigorous testing process. Ability to execute tasks based on

JIRA tickets

, translating detailed requirements and user stories into high-quality code. Experience with

technologies outside of Android

is a plus!

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
