The Role:
As Lead Auditor, you will play a key role in shaping the Council's strategic direction by providing independent and impartial assurance, managing a diverse portfolio of audits, and handling multiple assignments simultaneously
In the role of Lead Auditoe you will support the Lead Audit Managers, you will be responsible for delivering clear and accurate reports, meeting client expectations, and ensuring that the Council's plan and policy objectives are met from an internal audit perspective
As a Lead Auditor you will have a proven ability to manage time effectively, scope complex audit assignments, develop testing strategies, and drive continuous improvement and positive change within a multifaceted organisation
While the work of a Lead Auditor will be varied, we are particularly interested in candidates with specific audit expertise in procurement, schools, or data analytics
