An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Milestones Trust as our Lead Auditor.
We're looking for a detail-oriented and values-driven professional to lead our Quality Auditing function. This is a key role in ensuring that the Trust continues to deliver high standards of care and support, while meeting regulatory requirements and driving continuous improvement.
You'll lead a small team of auditors, manage audit schedules, and work closely with services across the Trust to gather feedback, assess performance, and share best practice. Your work will directly contribute to improving outcomes for the people we support.

What you'll be doing:
Leading and supporting the Quality Auditors team, including line management and development.
Managing audit schedules and assignments across all Trust services.
Conducting quality and GDPR audits (both desktop and onsite).
Ensuring auditing tools are compliant with CQC, GDPR and other relevant standards.
Streamlining audit tools and processes to support digital transformation.
Capturing and analysing performance data using electronic systems in use across the trust.
Producing clear, insightful reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Gathering feedback from people we support through audits, surveys, and visits.
Identifying and sharing best practices across services.
Supporting services during inspections, including pre- and post-inspection input.
Travelling to services across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, BANES, Swindon, and Wiltshire as required.
What we're looking for:
Experience in quality auditing or compliance roles, ideally within health or social care.
Experience in effective team management
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (CQC, GDPR).
Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Comfortable using remote collaboration tools in a hybrid working environment.
