Our goal is massive... we are aiming to become the 'World's Leading Children's Football Coaching Organisation'. The Football Fun Factory was founded in 2017 and has now grown into a nationwide football provider and is spreading across the UK and beyond.
The Football Fun Factory was created to provide truly unique experiences for boys and girls of all ages and abilities.
The Role
The role of a Lead Coach is to support the local management franchisee in the running of their football programmes.
The Lead Coach will be responsible for leading each coaching session which includes:
Having ultimate responsibility for the successful delivery of each session
Taking a lead role in addressing the whole group of children at each session, giving them and their parents information on the FFF and our ethos as well as an introduction of how the session is going to run.
Leading the presentation of our 'Blue Card' to the winners at the end of each session.
Managing registers and being aware of any health conditions and photography consent preferences for each child
Managing the number of children at each session (which will vary each week) and grouping accordingly
Managing a wide range of different ages and abilities at every session - the children who attend our sessions range from those who have never played football before to those who are very keen footballers and play in local teams.
Managing assistant coaches
Being responsible for the equipment at each session, including the transportation of it to each session, setting it up, packing it away and generally keeping it all clean and in good condition.
Build great relationships with the children and their parents, we want them to keep coming back to you, their favourite coach!
Liaising with parents, answering any questions they may have and generally showing that you are always there and ready to listen and help.
The Person
You will be a loud and enthusiastic superstar coach with an ability to engage and inspire young children. You will need to be an excellent face to face communicator and fantastic at building and developing relationships with both parents and children.
You will be confident at speaking to and managing large groups of children on a weekly basis.
The FFF is open to supporting passionate and committed individuals to achieving relevant qualifications if needed, but you must already have an enthusiastic, outgoing, personality and have strong experience of engaging with children from 5-12 years in a sports setting.
Qualifications
You will need a football coaching qualification, first aid certification and valid PVG check.
Hours and Location
We currently have the below session that we need a Lead Coach to deliver:
Beith Community Centre on Fridays, 5-6pm (5-12 years)
Additional sessions will be added as we continue to grow, which you would have the first choice to get involved in to expand your coaches hours, before we would go out to recruit more coaches.
We will also run Camps in the school holidays as well as birthday parties and events on an ad-hoc basis, so there will be opportunities for more hours, should you wish to take on more.
Our hope is that the successful candidate will want to work with us to increase their coaching hours with us and to grow their schedule over time.
Benefits of working with us:
Competitive rates of pay
Unique coaching experiences
Significant training resources to help you deliver sessions the FFF way
Provision of session plans for you to deliver (with flexibility to add your own twist!)
