About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Lead Coach to deliver fun and energetic Mini Athletics sessions for children aged 2-8 years old. You'll play a key role in building children's confidence, fitness, and love of sport through exciting games and activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about sport, coaching, or working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead engaging sessions that develop children's fundamental movement skills. Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants. Be the main point of contact for parents and guardians during sessions. Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety standards are followed. Represent Mini Athletics in a positive and professional way.

Key Requirements:

Confident, energetic, and great with young children. Reliable and committed to working Sunday mornings. Previous experience in sport, coaching, teaching, or childcare is an advantage but not essential--training provided. Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car (equipment is transported to and from sessions). Willing to complete a DBS check (can be arranged if not already held).

We will invite shortlisted applicants to attend a paid trial session (20 attendance payment) where you can shadow a class and see the role in action before starting training.
