Little Kickers has a vacancy for a Lead Coach in Rugby

Saturday mornings 8.00am-12:00pm at Rugby High School, 4 hours

NB: This is a permanent position requiring availability all year round.

A keen interest in sport and previous experience of sports coaching and/or working with large groups of children is essential

Experienced Football or Sports Coach? Nursery Worker or Teaching Assistant? Love working with children? If you are confident, out-going, great with young children, 100% reliable and interested in contributing to the success of an exciting children's activity business then we would love to hear from you!

Although training in the Little Kickers programme will be given, this role involves teaching football to children up to 7 years of age, therefore a good sense of humour, confident manner and bundles of energy are essential! You must be a clear communicator and be physically fit.

Responsibilities of a Little Kickers Lead Coach:

- Coaching football to children age 18 months up to 7 years old, actively delivering sessions in a fun and engaging manner to up a maximum 20 children per class

- Leading and directing a small team of Assistant Coaches

- Direct communication with parents/carers at classes

- Implementing all relevant health and safety processes within the session

Requirements to be a Little Kickers Lead Football Coach:

- Confident, out-going, enthusiastic, great with children, 100% reliable and professional.

- Able to work independently and within a team environment.

- Excellent verbal communication skills.

- Physically fit

- Keen interest in football/sport.

- FA Level 1 or similar sports coaching qualification advantageous but not essential.

(We are particularly interested in speaking with people that have a background as a: Sports Coach/Leader, Teaching Assistant, Nursery/Early Years Worker, Sports/Drama Student etc...)

Pay: Up to 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week
