Job Description

Brakes Community Foundation CIO, the charitable partner of Leamington FC, have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding candidate for work beginning in immediately.

The candidate will be responsible for planning and delivery of a number of sessions which fall in line with the coaching philosophy, vision and values of the company.

This role is for an outstanding sports coach with experience and an enthusiasm to deliver engaging sessions across many different sports for all ages.

Essential Criteria



Minimum NGB level 2 qualification (essential) Qualified to degree level (desirable) First aid and safeguarding certification Must be prepared to cover work at different venues Current enhanced DBS Other qualifications in sports would be desirable Knowledge of in school delivery and best practice for KS1 and KS2 Experience of delivering high quality, engaging sessions to groups of up to 30 children age 5 + Full, clean driving license essential

Details



Part time Working hours will vary day to day Candidates need to be available Monday to Friday afternoons, some evenings and potential for work at weekends too. Sessions include but not limited to; after school clubs and community sport sessions for all ages, including adults Practical, theory and administration aspects to be completed

Key Responsibilities



Planning, delivery and evaluating sessions Responsible for offering engaging inclusive sessions To evaluate pupils and sessions and report to up line as and when necessary in a school environment To be fully responsible for the safety and welfare of all participants under your care Development and Progression focus - every participant matters approach To liaise on a regular basis with the Foundation Manager, Sport and Physical Activity Lead and Community Co-ordinator to ensure that the needs of all participants are catered for. Safeguarding Understand the company Safeguarding policy, procedures and best practice guidelines. Use this understanding to ensure safer recruitment, safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment. Other responsibilities To attend staff meetings and CPD as required. To be aware of current trends and best practice in a school environment To continually look for ways to develop and improve our coaching programme. Actively take part in selling our community programmes to local partners
