We have an exciting opportunity for a

Lead Corporate Financial Systems Analyst

in our European Headquarters located in London. As a key member of the Corporate Financial Systems team, you will have the opportunity to work with current and future technology in an environment that focuses on team goals and objectives.


The Corporate Financial Systems Team provides support for all users of PeopleSoft Financials and Expenses across all facets of the application, ensures the integrity of the PeopleSoft general ledger and ensures that the system is running smoothly. The team also manages and delivers on a prioritised list of projects as agreed by the PeopleSoft Steering Committee.


Job Purpose:


Under general supervision, this role:


implements and maintains the department data system; oversees integration projects and system enhancements; and ensures that all processes are completed effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:


Relying on broad and comprehensive expertise in technique or discipline, this role is accountable for accomplishing the following assignments and has substantial latitude for actions or decisions made without review and acts independently under general direction.


Implement accounting/financial systems and databases by providing analysis, setup, and testing of programs to ensure accurate financial results and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Statutory Accounting Principles. Document test results and troubleshoot program issues. Collaborate with IT and other applicable departments to ensure all user needs are identified and included into system requirements and all technical aspects are properly documented and addressed. Develop and test interfaces between all applicable systems/databases. Identify and make recommendations for improving processes and procedures for assigned accounting/financial systems and databases. Create and maintain system documentation, user manuals and training documents. Perform all system administration for assigned business application including security administration, configuration management, system monitoring, and appropriate documentation of all activities.

Skills and Experience Specification:


Essential:


A minimum of ten years of relevant and progressive professional experience in Accounting and/or Finance especially in the implementation and maintenance of

PeopleSoft Financials

accounting systems

. Understanding of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles Possess and have ability to apply broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures Advanced proficiency with various PeopleSoft Financial modules specifically Billing, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and Treasury. Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy Exceptional organisational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; strong decision-making skills and problem-solving aptitude Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company's business to proactively respond to changing business environment Advanced proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word) Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential material strictly in accordance with company policy and legal requirements An exceptional communicator and able to make connections across the organisation at multiple locations Flexibility and a willingness to learn
Desirable:


Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience
