Newport and Chepstow
and seeking a passionate, motivated, and positive
Team Leader / Dance Instructor
to lead our new schools, manage a small team, and build a thriving community of young dancers.
The Opportunity
This is not just a teaching role, it's an opportunity to
own and lead your own dance business
in partnership with MF Dance.
You'll receive full training, business mentorship, and all the tools and support you need to build two successful locations, and support cover for our Bristol schools from time to time. with the potential to grow your own schools to
4-5 nights per week
.

Key Responsibilities
Lead fun, high-energy
street-dance classes
for ages 3-17.
Manage and motivate a local
team of instructors, junior instructors, and scholar students
.
Choreograph routines for showcases, competitions, and performances.
Handle day-to-day operations of your own schools (training provided).
Support the recruitment and development of new instructors as your team expands.
Promote your schools locally through social media, events, and partnerships.
Uphold the MF Dance brand standards, curriculum, and student experience.
Ideal Candidate
Passionate about
street, commercial, or hip-hop dance
.
Confident, outgoing, and a
natural leader
with excellent communication skills.
Positive, proactive, and organised with a strong sense of responsibility.
Has
experience teaching or assisting
dance classes.
Experience managing people or teams
(preferred).
Based in or near Newport
, willing to travel to Chepstow and Bristol.
Must drive
and have access to a vehicle.
Ambitious and committed to
personal and business growth
.
Requirements
Street-dance or performing-arts experience (teaching or assisting).
DBS check (can be arranged).
First Aid qualification (training provided).
Availability: Monday - Thursday evenings (flexible to cover varied nights).
Willingness to work
on
the business as well as
in
it - this role rewards long-term dedication and vision, not instant results.
