Key Responsibilities



Lead, support and guide other dental nurses to ensure smooth and efficient clinical operations Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring instruments and materials are properly prepared Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile clinical environment in line with health and safety and infection control protocols Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, offering reassurance and guidance before, during, and after treatment Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, complying with data protection and CQC standards Oversee stock control and ordering of dental materials and equipment Help manage appointments, follow-ups, and general front-desk duties when needed Promote a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Requirements



GDC-registered Dental Nurse with relevant qualifications Previous experience in a dental nursing role -- leadership or senior responsibilities are a plus Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Confident with dental software and IT systems Professional, empathetic, and approachable manner with both patients and team members
