As Lead TCO, you will play a pivotal role in patient conversion, team leadership, and the continued growth of the practice. You will act as the central link between clinicians, patients, the TCO team, the Concierge team, and the wider management team, ensuring consistency, excellence, and results across the entire patient journey.

The Role

As Lead Treatment Coordinator (TCO), you will:

Patient Consultation & Conversion

Lead patient consultations, ensuring treatment options, fees, and outcomes are clearly explained. Inspire confidence and excitement in patients, supporting informed decision-making and high case acceptance. Oversee the full patient journey from initial enquiry through to treatment completion, ensuring a seamless and premium experience.

Leadership, Team Management & Direction

Manage, direct, and oversee the day-to-day performance of the Treatment Coordinator and Concierge teams.

Act as the senior point of contact for all TCOs and Concierges. Allocate workloads, set priorities, and ensure effective coordination between Concierge and TCO functions. Support, mentor, train, and performance-manage TCOs and Concierges to maintain a consistent, high-performing team. Develop and refine consultation processes, patient communication standards, and service protocols across both teams. Lead onboarding and training for new TCOs and Concierges in collaboration with the Practice Manager. Work closely with the Practice Manager and clinicians to align clinical goals with patient experience and commercial performance.

Growth, Marketing & Business Development

Take ownership of patient acquisition strategies in collaboration with management. Guide and support the Concierge team in lead handling, enquiry conversion, and first-point-of-contact excellence. Support and guide lead generation through online platforms, referrals, and community outreach. Build relationships with local businesses and partners to strengthen NuYu's presence in the community.

Performance, Reporting & Accountability

Monitor conversion rates, treatment uptake, and patient engagement metrics across both TCO and Concierge teams. Take ownership of tracking individual and team conversions for commission purposes, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Lead and host bi-weekly TCO and Concierge huddles to review performance, track KPIs, share best practice, and drive continuous improvement. Prepare and submit regular performance and commission reports to the management team, supporting accurate payroll processing. Identify opportunities to improve patient flow, operational efficiency, and revenue generation.

Who We're Looking For

A qualified Dental Nurse with substantial Treatment Coordinator experience. Radiography qualification is essential. Proven experience managing, leading, or mentoring teams (formal or informal), ideally including front-of-house or concierge-style roles. Confident, professional, and commercially aware, with a strong understanding of private dentistry. An excellent communicator who builds trust quickly and explains complex treatment plans with clarity. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident in managing people, performance, and processes. Proactive, solutions-focused, and motivated by achieving both patient and business outcomes.
