We\'re supporting a UK leader in professional services and connected workspaces to find a Lead Developer as they look to build a new team. The role is remote-first with some travel to one of their UK hubs in Manchester Bristol or Birmingham depending on where you\'re located. With a diverse range of projects to involve yourself in this role would suit someone who enjoys learning new tech and solving complex problems. Due to the nature of some of their clients you\'ll need to be eligible for SC clearance.

What experience you\'ll need
  • Well-versed in open-source technologies with willingness to learn new languages/frameworks.
  • Skilled in web and mobile app development using things like C#.Net Node Xamarin Swift or similar.
  • Background in technical leadership and mentoring.
  • Confident in web development using HTML CSS JavaScript preferably React.
  • Cloud-based development experience (Azure or similar).
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems & architecture is highly desirable.
What you\'ll be doing

This role is part of a brand-new team who are building web & mobile applications that underpin the business\' goals of being a leader in connected workspaces and facilities management. There\'s a bunch of exciting projects in the pipeline which includes chatbot apps experimenting with ChatGPT/OpenAI and developing \'smart building\'\xc2\x9d software. There\'s lots of variety so whilst they\'ll play to your strengths it would be great if you\'re willing to involve yourself in other aspects of wider project delivery. It\'s a fantastic environment to diversify your skill set whilst delivering first-class software at the forefront of modern technology.
