Complete Smart Home Solutions are seeking a talented and dedicated Smart Homes Senior Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise and experience with strong leadership to roll-out integrated, user-friendly smart home solutions that transform how people interact with their living spaces.

Key responsibilities

? To be the site-lead to manage project installation life cycle

? Time and workflow management of Engineer(s) and sub-contractors

? Ensure attention to detail and maintain high standards of work

? Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing deadlines and requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience: minimum 5 years of experience or residential and commercial smart-home solutions, such as:

? Multi-room AV & Cinema / Media rooms

? Intelligent Lighting & HVAC

? Network

? Security, Intruder alarms, CCTV and access control

? Whole home automation programming to include...Control4, Lutron and Rako

Skillsets required include:

? Cable Testing & Certification of First Fix Cables (Generally Installed by Others)

? Infrastructure Cable Termination & Head End Installation

? Second Fix Installation & Commissioning of the Above Listed Systems

? Rack Planning, Building & Commissioning

? Wired & Wireless Data Networks

? Soft Skills for Customer Handover & System Training

? Fault Finding & Reactive Maintenance (Remote & In Person)

? Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

? Use of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook etc) is beneficial

Package

? Base salary - 36,000 - 45,000 (depending on experience)

? Company van with fuel card plus company expenses card

? Company pension

This is an immediate start, full-time field-based role, with our office based in Ashford, Kent. It is essential that candidates have a full UK driving licence.

The role includes 20 days paid holiday plus eight days bank holidays per year.
