Lead Examinations Officer



Points 10-14 of the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff pay spine, currently 26,666 to 30,119 per annum (full time).

We're looking for someone who's detail-driven, composed under pressure, and brilliant at bringing people together to keep everything running smoothly

In this key role, you will lead on all things exams, from managing a fab team of invigilators to leading the planning and delivery of all internal and external exam events in line with JCQ regulations. You'll also work closely with staff, students, parents/carers, and awarding bodies, ensuring high standards of service and accuracy at all times.

Experience working in an examinations environment is essential although training will be provided where needed. You will have an ability to lead, stay organised, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

A day in Examinations could see you:



Coordinating examination entries, timetables, and logistics Communicating with students, staff, parents/carers, and awarding bodies Leading, training, and supporting our team of invigilators and administrators Ensuring secure storage and handling of exam materials Leading internal reviews of exam procedures to improve service delivery
