Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Exhibition Stand Installer to oversee and execute installation projects across various sites throughout the UK and abroad on occasion. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading installation teams, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate installation teams during exhibition stand project execution, providing guidance and support to ensure timely completion.
Plan and organise installation schedules, allocating resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
Conduct site assessments and prepare detailed installation plans in accordance with client specifications and safety regulations.
Oversee the safe handling and installation of equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
Troubleshoot technical issues on-site, providing solutions promptly to minimise delays.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, including reports on progress, issues encountered, and completion certificates.
Train and mentor junior installers, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Skills
Proven experience in exhibition stand build, installation and de-rig work within the exhibition industry sector. Others considered such as construction, electrical, or mechanical services.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams (internal & freelance) effectively under pressure.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks efficiently.
Good problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to installation projects.
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Valid driving licence is essential and ability to drive vans safely and with confidence up to 3.5 tonnes (Luton Vans) for site travel throughout the UK; familiarity with relevant tools and equipment is essential. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to lead complex projects while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
