Lead For Vulnerable People
Job Description
The post holder is responsible for leading long term strategic planning, development and implementation of an efficient, effective and high quality strategic approach to safeguarding children, adults at risk, the Mental Health Act, the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards/Liberty Protection Safeguards, Domestic Abuse, Prevent, Dementia, Learning Disabilities and Autism. The post holder will possess an up to date and contemporary understanding of the needs of patients, carers and staff within the varying levels of the organisation. The post holder will have a corporate role with responsibility for ensuring that the Trust meets the standards, legislation, guidance and regulations and advise the Trust on Safeguarding and legislative frameworks. The post holder will be the nominated Prevent Lead for the organisation and act as Board member to represent the Trust on the Local Safeguarding Children and adults Boards.
The post holder will directly line manage the, Lead Nurse for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities.
