The TM1 Pricing team provides tools that help Ticketmaster's diverse customers make faster, better?informed pricing decisions. As an industry leader, TM1 Pricing continually redefines price?adjustment standards by innovating to meet client needs.


THE JOB



As Lead Front?End Engineer on the TM1 Pricing team, you'll build a B2B application used by corporate clients and Ticketmaster partners to optimize ticket prices. You'll take an active part in the overall solution design and the architecture of the systems your team supports.


You will design and develop complete components and applications, work autonomously, and draw on your experience and technical expertise to propose new ideas and solutions. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with peers across global teams, using your initiative to solve complex problems and remove obstacles that affect service quality. Iteratively, you'll transform the TM1 Pricing app by following current best practices while introducing and championing new ones.


You'll represent the team as a technical expert and work closely with the Product Manager on requirements and planning. A key part of the role is anticipating team needs and adapting proactively. You'll mentor junior colleagues and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will also help align multiple teams with different time zones on the technical solutions. Working in a DevOps/Agile environment, you'll handle end?to?end delivery of new features--including testing and production support--across multiple projects and technologies.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING



Design and develop a secure, stable application that clients can rely on to optimize pricing. Shape architectural decisions to ensure the app is simple, scalable, maintainable, reliable, reusable, and secure. Plan stories and iterations to meet product goals and execute the roadmap. Be accountable for your team's performance. Mentor and motivate teammates. Support external teams integrating with your services and document best practices. Build required micro?front?ends with Angular, React, and TypeScript. Develop and deploy services on AWS and Kubernetes. Maintain high quality standards. Collaborate with product and UX managers on feature development. Define and execute a strategy to maintain and modernize legacy components and services. Automate testing, deployment, resilience, and application monitoring. Coordinate team activities to maximize performance. Cultivate relationships with internal and external partners. Document support procedures for your systems and train colleagues on them. Participate in the production?support rotation.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)



Several years of software?development experience. Proven years working with Agile methodologies. Several years of front?end development. Proven years of DevOps experience. Expert front?end development skills (Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript). Proven experience building shared services and APIs. Demonstrated application of SOLID principles and design patterns. Experience with distributed applications (microservices, event?driven architecture). Familiarity with micro?frontend architecture. Track record of mentoring colleagues. Experience supporting and improving legacy systems. Real?time and end?to?end monitoring of production reliability and performance. Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Maven, and GitLab CI is a plus. Experience with at least one database (DynamoDB, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.). Experience with Elasticsearch. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with remote team members. Bilingual: French and English.
