As the Lead Health Surveillance Occupational Health Advisor (OHA), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical and operational delivery of our health surveillance services across the UK. You will ensure services are compliant with UK legislation, best practices, and client requirements, supporting the health and wellbeing of employees across a variety of industries.
What you'll be doing:
Provide remote and some infrequent onsite clinical oversight of the full health surveillance pathway.
Undertake health surveillance activities (e.g., HAVS Tier 3, face-to-face assessments) to maintain clinical skills and support operational demand.
Lead on the Clinical components of remote and onsite health surveillance delivery, including planning and quality assurance.
Ensure appropriate interpretation and escalation of surveillance outcomes, including fitness decisions and onward referral where appropriate.
Oversee clinical quality in line with SEQOHS, ISO 9001/27001, and internal audit requirements.
Develop and review protocols and procedures for health surveillance, ensuring alignment with HSE guidance and industry best practices.
Lead on clinical incident investigation and risk mitigation strategies relating to health surveillance delivery

Person Specification:
Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
Hold an occupational health qualification, eg) certificate, diploma or degree which may be recorded on Part 3 of the NMC register Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN).
Experience in delivering and managing occupational health surveillance services is desirable.
HAVS Tier 3 qualified (or working toward)
Experience with audiometry, spirometry, skin checks, vision testing, and safety-critical medicals
Knowledge of relevant UK OH legislation (e.g., COSHH, Noise at Work, HAVS)
