Here's what you'll be doing with us:
The Lead People Business Partner (LBP) serves as a strategic partner to leadership, driving alignment between business goals and people strategies. They provide professional HR expertise and consultancy, focusing on organisational design and development, workforce planning, and employee relations. By fostering strong relationships with leaders and key stakeholders, the LBP ensures the development and implementation of HR initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness, improve employee engagement, and support change management efforts. This role requires strong HR and change management expertise, a deep understanding of the business, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to solving complex people challenges.
Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement organisational design strategies, ensuring policies, structures, roles, and culture align with business objectives and support long-term growth.
Lead and manage large-scale people related organisational change projects and initiatives by developing, executing, and embedding robust change management strategies that enhance organisational effectiveness and ensure smooth transitions.
Lead the design, execution, and evaluation of strategic and tactical HR projects, ensuring HR projects align with business priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.
Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to support in the design and implementation of various deliverables in the wider People team in areas such as Talent Management, Reward, Employee Engagement, and Diversity & Inclusion
Manage and develop the People Specialist and People Business Partner, ensuring their growth and the delivery of high-quality HR services.
Oversee complex employee relations cases, providing expert guidance and ensuring compliance with legislation, FCA regulations, company policy and best practice.
Proactively engage with leaders across all levels to understand their needs, offer tailored HR solutions, and influence and support decision-making to drive organisational success.
Our Wishlist of your previous experience:
Proven experience as a senior People Business Partner or similar role, with a strong track record in driving organisational design and development, leading change initiatives, employee relations and stakeholder management.
Proven expertise in managing TUPE processes and large-scale changes and restructures.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and translate insights into strategic initiatives.
Experience in leading strategic and tactical HR projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with business priorities, timely delivery, and adherence to legal requirements.
In-depth knowledge of employee relations, employment law, and best practice.
Ability to build & maintain relationships and influence at all levels, influencing decisions and collaborating effectively to achieve business goals.
Line management experience, fostering a culture of development and high performance
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements from an HR perspective (advantage but not essential).
