Location: Homebased with commutable distance to Darlington, Peterlee or Huddersfield


We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity to lead key projects within our large transformation programme for our Northgate Business. As we approach the final build phase, this role will be crucial in supporting the Programme Manager and Head of IT Portfolio & Strategy Delivery in ensuring we have detailed project delivery plans as we transition from Project to Process.The projects will be diverse, ranging from managing our technical readiness to assisting our IT teams in designing and implementing our new operating model. Given the fast-paced, evolving, and complex nature of this Programme, we require someone with significant experience in large system migration projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and key milestones. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets, ensuring mitigation strategies. Define and enforce IT project governance, standards and frameworks. Stakeholder engagement: build strong relationships across all levels, challenging and influencing senior stakeholders when needed.

Salary -

About You

First of all, you have proven experience in delivering IT projects, preferably in Agile environment. You have the ability to plan, prioritise and manage resources within a collaborative team-based environment. You are familiar with different change models, demonstrating confidence and robustness in delivery. You have the ability to challenge senior stakeholders and drive successful project outcomes.
