A Day in the Life of a Kitchen Porter Lead:
Supervise and manage the kitchen porter team
Create staff rotas to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas
Oversee washing of kitchenware and deep cleaning of equipment and storage areas
Manage stock and deliveries, including chemical usage
Ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
Assist with basic food preparation
Meet any other management requests
You'll Be Set Up for Success If You Have:
Minimum 5 years of kitchen porter experience
Level 2 Food Safety & Health and Safety knowledge
At least 1 year of supervisory experience (preferred)
Legal right to work in the UK and have resided in-country for the past 5 years
A can-do attitude and team-oriented approach
Passion for cleanliness, hospitality, and the food industry
Advanced English communication skills
