Job Responsibilities




As a Lead Maintenance Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Undertake Daily Supervision of Maintenance Team. Lead by example and motivate your team to strive for excellence in all maintenance operations. Implementation of Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with all company statutory and legal requirements, including fire, health and safety, hygiene, and local by-laws. Coordinate with Housekeeping, work closely with the housekeeping team to prioritise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring a seamless guest experience. Prompt Response to Enquiries: Address all maintenance enquiries promptly and effectively. Conduct Maintenance Repair Work: Undertake maintenance repairs with strict adherence to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE. Maintain Green Areas and Car Parks: When applicable, ensure these areas are well-maintained and presentable. Follow and implement planned preventative maintenance programs to prevent issues before they arise. Cultivate Relationships to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers and contractors. Implement Energy Conservation Initiatives aimed at conserving energy and reducing waste. Adhere to C.O.S.H.H Regulations regarding the storage and handling of hazardous substances. Assist in the training and development of the maintenance team to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency.

Excellent Grooming Standards and maintain a professional appearance at all times. Be flexible and adaptable to various work situations and challenges. Capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Experience




While not mandatory, the following will be advantageous:

Previous maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, or painting and decorating. Possession of any qualifications relevant to the role is beneficial.
